Lolita Coordinate for December

Hey there, Mr. Blog~
Miss me? I dressed in some Lolita clothing today. Check out my endeavors! Captain bought me the ADORABLE sweater yesterday. It is woven out of magic and fabulousness.

Ignore my fat rolls, sorry. Not really, I think i look pretty damn cute despite of the flaws. I have a good reason for being so smug though, Mr. Blog! I have lost 40 lbs this year! Yup, even though I have not been blogging as much as my promise at the beginning of the year I sill have stuck to my lifting routine and eating well. So hopefully I will be down to my goal weight by the end of 2013~

I am super happy tonight! Kiss kiss~

Crafty Update

Mr.Blog~ I've been super sick. Boo hoo. But I have been putting my awake times into good use. Check it out.

The willing Mr. Kruger is modeling my creativity today. He feels both compliment his beautiful complexion rather well.
Still feeling rather unwell, but at least my fever is gone.

Closer to a New Year

Hey there, Mr. Blog! Did you think I abandoned you? Very sorry, I wish I was not so flighty...Ehhh...
Work has kept me very busy, as per the usual. I got my SHINEY Employee of the Month plaque. It is sitting proudly among my dorky figurines and manga on the bookshelf. And I have been stitching up a mess of hair bows and scarves for the holiday orders around here. I am no where near internet established but have a good little thing going on around the area. Nothing too fancy but getting good practice in! On a sad note though, my sewing machine crapped out on me so that makes things a bit more tedious in the long run.

For my Christmas/Birthday gift this tie around I am waiting ever so not patiently for a fabulous skirt from Blasphemina's Closet! The Lisa skirt with the Lavender Second Star print to be specific. Behold!
It is so lovely. I cannot wait to try it on. Happy Birthday to me!Cake!
One of the local Lolita groups is having a meetup this month as well. There will be ice skating involved, so we will see if I can keep from killing myself in action.

December is a busy month for me yearly usually, with the holiday and the fact that both my sons' birthdays are in it as well. In about six hours my company that owns the apartment complex is coming to do construction in my domicile for the week. I am excited to get new things but I cannot help but think there will be a massive headache involved with this whole ordeal. Rumors are that I am going to acquire a new refrigerator  stove, counters, and kitchen sink. I hope they replace the flooring in my kitchen as well since the last place allowed their workers to ruin the flooring while repairing my broken pipes. He just let the nasty water drain wherever and didn't use a basin or anything. My linoleum is peeled back a good six inches from the edges of my floor on two sides of the room. Makes it super hard to mop, yo! Eeek!

Over the weekend I had a small bit of drama that upset me quite a bit with a friend. I am still off and on distraught/sad/angry/offended but I think things worked out as well as they ever would after being revealed the true intentions of the situation. I am sad I lost a friend but I accept that life is this way and that people ebb closer and further from each other constantly. I won't miss them, I think I regret that as well. People leave very deep impressions sometimes with the smallest of actions, but even if that action is short in physical time or shallow in thought it can leave such a chasm between two people that nothing can mend or undo what occurred.

So many things to craft! So little time! I decided that I am making a goal to blog Wednesday nights to help give you more attention, Mr. Bloggy-Poo~DokiDokie~

P.S. My Photobucket account went haywire on me and I had to redo everything, so previous linked images are screwed. I'll try to fix you up ASAP.

OMG It's September!

Jeez, it has been a tiny while! I missed you, Mr. Blog! But since my return from vacation about three weeks ago I have picked up every shift I can get a hold of in preparation of the holiday season. I know Christmas is still a good distance away but we have four birthdays in that month as well. Phew! So I have been toiling away endlessly at the time clock.

The weather here is slowly cooling, sometimes, occasionally, once a week-ish. Well, today was not hot. That is a slight improvement! Walking is so much nicer in this weather.

This afternoon I plan on brushing up on my French and making a Kigurumi. Seeing my father a few weeks ago made me remember how much French I have forgotten in the past years. When I was a child, I thought "beaucoup" was an actual number, like the next set up from millions. So when Daddy would end something with "boo coo" I thought he meant an actual quantity. I was such a silly kid.

Small snippets of my free time have been devoted to reading Homestuck, Watchmen comics, and Steve Perry sci-fi books. Predator is one of  my big fandoms. Like, I have figurines in my bedroom. Yeah, yeah, I am a huge dork. They are just so badass. It is great! I remember when I was a kid, watching Arnold and Predator face off like two titans in the jungle. It was mesmerizing. Action movie at it's finest!

Off to make a huge mess of my carpet by chopping up fleece EVERYWHERE!

P.S. Speaking of work, which I do not do often, I made employee of the month. I feel pretty proud about it so I figured I would slip that little tidbit in. I usually do not talk about work because I would not want to feel too comfortable about sharing what goes on there and violate any HIPAA policies or company policies. I r professhunal. But the EotM thing really perked me up since I slave away like a fool for my employer! And my clients are always a high priority to me. I even think about work at home often and that is usually a big consumer of my free time.

Knotfest 2012 Council Bluffs, IA

Serj Tankian and The Flying Cunts of Chaos taking stage!
I was just as excited to see him as Slipknot.
And my phone crapped out after The Deftones left the stage since I had so many people texting and calling me! But I found a video on Youtube where The Captain and I are bouncing around during Slipknot! It was AMAZING! I know, you cannot tell where we are. But I don't think you will find us unless you are used to seeing our faces. The entire show was amazing, all the bands did a great job! There were so many booths and activities to enjoy, although I did not really do the rides or the head shops. I did buy some shirts though! I will definatly be attending any other Knotfest that pop up in the future!
