Done Dirt Cheap!

Mr. Blog!!! photo 231_zps345df61d.gif
I was unaware that JoAnn Fabrics was having a sale today until my friend informed me. It's the little things that excite me, Mr. Blog. And I was thrilled for sure. Not wanting to miss some great deals while simultaneously curbing my ridiculous impulse to hoard craft supplies, I made myself a modest budget of $50. This is my haul...

Pay no attention to my cluttered table top above, the fabrics and patterns are where your eyes should direct themselves...

A small bend of the rules led my total to just shy of $55, more like guidelines anyways. But here is the kicker. Guess how much I saved. Nope. More. Guess again. That's not a real number, Mr. Blog...
$200.60 when it was all done and over with. Holy savings, Batman!!!

Gotta do a cake in the morning, so off to bed~ XOXO

April Showers Bring...Wait, Why is it Snowing???

Jeepers, Mr. Blog! The new year ain't that new anymore, is it? Mine has been rather eventful for sure. First and foremost, I upgraded to the new Kindle it is actually compatible with Blogger! So at this very moment you and I are testing how well I can mobile blog. Wish me luck! photo 114_zps8254b327.gif

This year had been a big pick up in my side-job as an independent baker/cake decorator. I loved doing cakes when I worked at my last job, but the cooperation I worked for treats their employees like poop and I could not tolerate them any longer. So now I do it out of my house! Here is a few cakes I did recently.

In all fairness, the last one is just my kids' birthday cake. I couldn't be bothered with a fancy cartoon design on it since we planned a huge two child Chuck-E-Cheese shindig. I was tired when it was all over with!

I've still been crafting my little heart out And working hard at sharing items I make with everyone. Right now I an working on a hat request and a plush cephalopod. And  apparently Cthulu hats are popular among my friends since I have made three so far.

Even though the weather cannot make up it's mind between snow our spring, I have started back up the great excessive exercise regime once more. Wooohooo... But seriously, I've done so well this far And I'm trying very hard to get to my goal! Back to more things to be crocheted. Watching Naruto Shippuden, I'm super late to the party  and my favourite character just got killed.

*sniff sniff* I totally have something in my eye...

Crafty Update

Mr.Blog~ I've been super sick. Boo hoo. But I have been putting my awake times into good use. Check it out.

The willing Mr. Kruger is modeling my creativity today. He feels both compliment his beautiful complexion rather well.
Still feeling rather unwell, but at least my fever is gone.

Summer is Absolutely Here

This week has been a hot one, Mr. Blog!

My weekends off have been filled with barbeques and outdoor fun. Watching lightsaber duels between grown men and sipping dessert wine always entails a good time!

I have set a few goals in the past week that are pretty important:
PhotobucketPlanning a two week trip to visit the family down in Mississippi!
PhotobucketIn 2013 start back to school for my Associates degree.
Woo, thrilled about this one. I love working full time
and going to college simultaneously. Wee~
PhotobucketI am being a good little adult
and organizing my financial papers and bills in a more
coherent and impressive system.
PhotobucketI continue to lift and run every day I can.

That last one is important because since the weather is becoming so much warmer I am becoming a bigger bum!

I leave you with a shot of some WIP crocheting on the couch. The photos for the Forrest Troll cozy are finished, just have to make it into something legible.

Ah! A CREEPER!

Well, Mr. Blog. Time for more excuses.*drip*
My Kindle died, and it had my most recent photos, so no sharing with you for now. But I do have a few saved on the computer, so you get those! Ha ha, fooled you a moment, eh? Above is my Poupee Girl dress up for today, I went with a starry sky edit since they are having the Horoscope Items promo at the moment. Below is my upload picture for one of the scarfs I wanted to share with you last week. I haven't posted it to PG yet, but since the other ones were lost to my renegade Kindle I do not mind sharing this one early.

Sort of Spank!/Fairy Kei inspired. I have been looking at alot of these things on Tumblr lately! I think full on Fairy Kei is a bit over the top for my personal taste but the colour schemes and the cute items are definitely appealing. The scarf has chained stitches between each strip to hold all three rows together. I really like how this pattern finished. Usually things I make up do not turn out how I planned them, but I was really pleased with these results! I also have been playing around with GIMP, in case you could not tell. Sparkles EVERWHUR~*SPARKLEZ*

As a side note, we have Minecraft now. Add me on Xbawkz and play with me!*HK smile*
Today I was digging around, about 59 block layers deep, and forgot to watch my back. A Creeper popped up and scared the bah-jezus out of me. I screeched so loud I am sure my neighbors were wondering what the heck I was doing, ha ha ha.

Late Night Hot Fries, Green Tea, and Blogging!

So, Mr. Blog.

I have been unwell once again, sometimes I feel I stay that way. *ICK* I went to the doctor last week for a strange noise in my ear, "vascular tinitus" or hearing my pulse in my ear similar to a ringing. It is a symptom of a middle ear infection and my guess was correct, but BOTH of my tympanic membranes were ruptured in my ears. This I was not expecting. So antibiotics in hand and cotton balls stuffed in my ears I went home and been loafing around the house since. But all has not been in vain, Mr. Blog! I have whipped out a few things while staying glued to my couch cushions, photos will have to be postponed until tomorrow when I have better lighting. Also, I have been asked by a few emails to explain my method to creating the Totoro Kindle cover I posted earlier so I will be making a tutorial my next off day from work to do so. I have never made one before so this shall be interesting!
My downtime entertainment, to The Captain's dismay, has consisted of My Little Pony and He-Man/She-Ra episodes. Both on Netflix! Yush! I burned through all the MLP they had to offer, sadly. I cannot wait for the next update!
I sort of lied, Mr. Blog. I went shopping Friday. I found three very cute skirts at Deb's, surprisingly. I was originally searching for new tights/leggings but that was a fruitless search. I have been pondering shopping online more often as I am finding it difficult to acquire desired items within the shops nearby. Some things are very cute, they even opened a new store named Maurice's, but I desire more mori/lolita-ish prices in my wardrobe.
Bedtime is way past now. I'll post tomorrow before work. Nighty night!*HEART*
